The CMT Field Technician will be responsible for performing field and laboratory testing of construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, and masonry. Job Description
- Performing field materials testing and inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, asphalt and other building materials
- Collect and document field data, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports
- Travel to construction sites to insure public safety
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and laboratory staff regarding project status and testing results
- Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents to management
- Create detailed field reports with relevant test results and inspections
