Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems. Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical and electrical components of industrial projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Coordinate bid requirements with other departments and subcontractors
- Solicit and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of pricing
- Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms
- Determine safety requirements for projects for incorporation into estimates
- Maintain detailed records of all estimates, bids, and related communications. Ensure that all estimating processes adhere to company policies and industry standards
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and new technologies to provide accurate and competitive estimates
