Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee all human resource activities and procurement tasks for externally sourced goods, providing support to the Plant Manager and Customer Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage new hiring process, including eligibility verification, background screening, pre-employment physical and drug screening administration, and benefits implementation
- Perform payroll-related tasks, including bonus calculations and communications thereof (letters and postings)
- Manage performance review process, including preparation and follow-ups
- Oversee job posting, candidate resume reviews, and interviewing process
- Serve as Safety Officer, responsible for managing safety trainings, plant inspections, and OSHA compliance monitoring
- Procure local and international goods for operations via SAP
- Manage approved supplier lists, vendor evaluations, and vendor agreements/contracts
- Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts and communicate results
- Support customer service (assigned accounts) and substitute CS during vacation or absences
- Provide administrative support to VP/Plant Manager with tasks such as monthly reports, intercompany communications, meeting minutes, etc.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or Psychology (preferred)
- Several years of experience in a human resource capacity
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to learn procurement skills through training
