What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmaceutical Operators 1st & 2nd, & 3rd shift position at Synerfac?
Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this position will have a standing majority of the day, with the ability to lift or move 25-49 pounds. This role involves operating vial filling machines, fabrication machines, and/or secondary packaging equipment, including labels and semi-automatic packaging equipment.
The successful candidate will be able to meet established scrap rate goals, clean and set up manufacturing/packaging equipment, and assure appropriate calibration stickers are current.
Additional responsibilities include recording all necessary documentation in appropriate logbooks and batch records, communicating with IPC Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, components, and machine performance.
The selected individual will also be responsible for palletizing completed work and transporting it to the warehouse as necessary, completing downtime log accurately and contemporaneously, and ensuring that all reconciled labeling is properly accounted for.
Furthermore, the candidate will need to communicate mechanical issues and other Production information with incoming and outgoing shifts, be knowledgeable of all appropriate SOPs and their practical application, and work within the following shift schedule: 1st Shift (6:15 am - 2:30 pm), 2nd Shift (2:15 pm - 10:30 pm), and 3rd Shift (10:15 pm - 6:30 am).
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of Pharmaceutical packaging experience required
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Basic mathematic skills
- Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, full face/half mask respirator, latex gloves, Tyvek suit, and other safety equipment as needed
- Basic use of tools and equipment
- Must possess good manual dexterity and visual acuity
