Sr. Network Engineer to perform special efforts 

Moving VOIP Service from Avaya to MS Teams ( Telephony experience required prefer both Avaya & MS Teams VOIP experience}

Looking for a leader to drive the identified efforts. Lead/plan and work with the FEDs to understand what is being planned but DRIVE the effort to completion. Here is a job description for a staff member to give an idea of the environment. Working daily tickets is NOT part of this person’s duties.

· SME/Expert level Network Engineer - Self Starter

· Experience with NetScaler Citrix – (A Must)

· Expert with Cisco switches network software upgrades

· Vulnerability Remediation Process

· Update technical documentation, maintaining & implementation of the SOP for network security (A Must)

· Cisco IPsec VPN troubleshooting

· Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

· SolarWinds automation scripts

· Cisco ASA Firewall 5500 / Firepower (A Must)

· Palo Alto Firewalls Panorama

· Willing to work after hours and weekends during maintenance windows (Onsite) on-need basis (A Must)

· Azure experience with NSGs (Networking)

· Analyzing PCAP Files using Wireshark

· Troubleshoot complex network issues (Expert)

· LAN, WAN, Wireless, and various network technologies

· Change Management Process

· TLS certificates renewals and installs

This role is expected to work more than 40 hrs. per week and will most likely require working nights and weekends.

MUST be available to come into the office (5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD) as needed
