We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist to join our team on-site. In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation across key social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, managing daily operations, and collaborating with internal teams and external agencies to create high-quality, engaging content. Staying ahead of trends, identifying influencer opportunities, and refining strategies to maintain brand impact and relevance are essential to this position.
As a Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist, you will oversee the day-to-day management of all social media channels, including content scheduling, posting, and community engagement. You will monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize campaigns. Additionally, you will support the Director of Marketing in managing external paid social media agencies and coordinating content efforts with PR partners.
Content creation will be a key focus, requiring you to develop compelling posts, graphics, short videos, and blog content that align with marketing campaigns and product launches. Working closely with the Digital Graphic Designer, you will ensure all content is visually appealing and aligned with brand guidelines. A strong understanding of SEO best practices and their integration into content marketing is highly valued.
Staying updated on emerging trends, platform updates, and audience behaviors will be critical in keeping our brand innovative and competitive. You will explore new social media formats, identify influencer collaborations, and test content strategies to drive engagement. Using tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, and Hootsuite, you will track key performance metrics, conduct A/B testing, and refine strategies to improve ROI.
THIS POSITION IS FULLY ONSITE IN THE NORTHWEST HOUSTON, TEXAS AREA.

Must be resident of greater Houston and surrounding cities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience managing social media and content marketing in a professional B2C setting.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio showcasing content across various formats.
- Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (a plus).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to integrate them into content creation.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience in reporting tools like Google Analytics.
- Ability to plan, record, and edit short videos is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to use good judgment in decision-making.
