Marketing Associate Digital Content & Social Media
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5 PM) (In-Person, Flexible Full-Time Schedule)
SUPERVISOR: Marketing Director
DEPARTMENT: Marketing Department
LOCATION: This position is open to being housed in Houma, Baton Rouge, or New Roads.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Associate to join our team! This role will focus on digital content creation, social media management, videography, and brand storytelling to enhance our banks online presence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for digital marketing, visual storytelling, and engaging with audiences across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Strategy:
- Develop engaging digital content, including graphics, videos, and copy for social media, websites, and digital ads.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create content that promotes bank products, services, and community involvement.

Social Media Management:
- Manage and grow the banks social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
- Plan and schedule content, monitor engagement, and respond to customer inquiries.
- Stay updated on social media trends and implement best practices.

Videography & Photography:
- Capture and edit high-quality videos and photos for marketing campaigns, customer testimonials, and events.
- Produce engaging short-form videos
- Maintain and organize digital media assets.

Campaign Execution & Reporting:
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns
- Track performance metrics, analyze data, and provide insights for optimization.

Community Engagement & Branding:
- Represent the bank at community events and capture content for digital promotion.
- Collaborate with branch teams to highlight customer success stories and local partnerships.
- Other marketing needs as they arise such as coordinating and executing community and employee engagement activities and events, graphic design, and other needs of the department.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to present a business professional appearance.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator), or similar design/video editing tools.
- Experience with photography and videography, including editing software.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with digital advertising (Facebook Ads, Google Ads) is a plus.
- Experience in banking, finance, or a regulated industry is a plus but not required.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent work experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or digital marketing is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to adapt to a flexible full-time work schedule with a focus on in-person collaboration.
- Must be open to working some weekend or after hours depending on events.
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel among branch locations.
- Must be able to work at a computer station in front of a monitor for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must be able to interact with the public utilizing various methods of communication.

- Must have the attention span to stay alert and attentive during a normal 8-hour workday.
- Must be able to make sound, quick decisions based on the facts of a situation and remain calm and in control in a possible ever-changing environment or an emergency.
- Must be able to follow instructions and procedures exactly as trained or as directed by his or her supervisor.
- Must be able to listen to, grasp, and respond positively to supervision and instructions by Management.
