Job Summary

CHHA needed for a female client in Freehold.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely when necessary.
• Support clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home community care, senior care, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
