Job Title: Data Modeler
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to design and maintain robust data models in Amazon Redshift, supporting our clients' reporting and analytical needs. This role combines technical expertise with a consulting mindset, ideal for a candidate passionate about data architecture and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Modeling: Design, implement, and maintain data models in Amazon Redshift to meet both technical and business objectives.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Amazon QuickSight and Power BI.
- Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand and fulfill data and visualization requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and visualization assets.
- Best Practices: Keep up-to-date with data modeling best practices and apply emerging trends to optimize solutions.
- Consulting Mindset: Work independently, build trust as a consultant, and identify opportunities for additional client engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in data modeling.
- 5 years of experience with Amazon Redshift, QuickSight, and/or Power BI.
- Financial industry experience (strongly preferred).
- Consulting background (preferred).
- Proficiency in SQL and database design.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
