About the Role:
As a member of the Internal Communications team, you will help design and execute communication initiatives that foster employee engagement and pride, support company culture, and align with external messaging. This role involves crafting high-quality content, managing internal channels, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure communication efforts resonate effectively with diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Internal Communications team to implement communication strategies that inspire engagement and foster a positive work environment.
- Manage the internal editorial calendar, develop content for internal stories and news, and align communications with external initiatives when necessary.
- Oversee the execution of the internal communication channel strategy, including digital signage, newsletters, and intranet content.
- Perform content management duties, ensuring quality, brand consistency, and timely updates across multiple platforms, such as email, audio, video, intranet, and digital signage.
- Create diverse internal communication deliverables, including newsletters, emails, editorial content, presentations, and Q&A resources, utilizing a variety of channels.
- Research, conceptualize, and propose creative internal communication campaigns that enhance employee engagement and align with best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to maximize communication opportunities and amplify successful initiatives.
- Use analytics and channel metrics to refine communication strategies and improve user experiences across internal platforms.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Written Communication: Strong writing and editing skills, capable of adjusting tone to suit different audiences; effective data presentation.
- Oral Communication: Clear, persuasive speaker with strong engagement skills; actively participates and listens in meetings.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with intranet tools (e.g., Simpplr, SharePoint), digital signage systems, and a plus for visual design or HTML capabilities.
