SynergyLabs is seeking to fill a position for a BATCHING TECHNICIAN: LIQUID BATCHING for its’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located near Hickory, North Carolina. This is a second shift position, 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday.
TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Batching Technician is responsible for batching & producing chemical-based products including liquids, powders, lotion, gels and creams.
- The Batching Technician must use appropriate tools to weigh chemical materials. The materials must be blended using an appropriately chosen vessel and the chemical materials must be introduced to the batching vessel while adhering to written mixing procedures.
- Responsible for communicating any raw material concerns to Purchasing.
- Ability to test all product specifications and complete CofA’s as needed.
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS:
- Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality and performance.
- Using mathematics to solve problems, calculate efficiencies and maximize daily batching capability.
- Watching gauges, dials or other indicators to make sure machines are working properly.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One to three years’ experience in batching; preferred
- Solid understanding of mathematic principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs required
