Description
Summary/Objective
Measurements & Fitting of DME products and other associated products on patients. Stock locations that require stock and bill products. Maintain confidential patient data as required by Medicare guidelines and company policy.
Essential Functions
- Deliver and fit patient for DME products.
- Collect co-payments from the patient at the time of fitting.
- Load patient information in Empower.
- Restock inventory at stock and bill clinics.
- Provide customer service to patients, including instructions for use of equipment and follow-up calls.
- Comply with all elements of HIPAA, Medicaid, and other required programs.
Physical Demands
- must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a work day
- Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions
- Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility
- Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws

Requirements
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed. Employees must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
Travel
Travel to hospitals and clinics will be required for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical background experience preferred
