Synergy Search is partnering with a fully remote fintech company seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Director of FP&A to join their growing finance team. As the Director of FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company. You will lead the FP&A function, working closely with senior leadership to develop financial plans, conduct analyses, and manage the budgeting and forecasting processes. A key focus of the role will be leveraging your expertise in Asset and Liability Management (ALM), capital stress testing, and financial modeling to help the company navigate and scale its operations while ensuring financial stability.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the FP&A team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to align with business goals.
- Drive capital stress testing scenarios and refine Asset and Liability Management strategies to ensure financial stability and risk mitigation.
- Develop advanced financial models to support strategic decision-making, including long-term forecasts and scenario planning.
- Partner with departments like Risk, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure financial assumptions and strategies are aligned across the business.
- Present financial insights, variance analyses, and recommendations to senior management and the board to inform key decisions.
Qualifications
- 7 years of FP&A experience, with expertise in ALM, capital stress testing, and financial modeling; fintech or financial services experience preferred.
- Proven leadership skills in managing and developing FP&A teams and collaborating across departments.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and BI tools; experience with ALM and stress testing platforms a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or similar qualification preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with experience presenting complex financial data and managing remote teams effectively.
Salary : $160,000 - $170,000
