Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to oversee compliance and quality assurance on federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing the Three-Phase Quality Control System in accordance with USACE/NAVFAC standards, ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory requirements. The role requires specific credentials—EM 385-1-1 certification and NAVFAC/USACE QCM certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage the Three-Phase Quality Control System to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Ensure full adherence to EM 385-1-1 safety standards
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs)
- Conduct inspections, document results, and address non-conformance issues
- Work closely with project superintendents, subcontractors, and safety personnel to maintain quality standards
- Assist in resolving quality-related issues, ensuring project deliverables meet contractual and regulatory expectations
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a QCM on federal construction projects
- EM 385-1-1 Certification
- USACE/NAVFAC QCM
- Strong understanding of federal construction procedures, codes, and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Previous experience working on Camp Pendleton or similar military installations
