What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Specialist position at Synergy Staffing?
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate Degree in information technology field required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing networks and firewalls.
- Familiarity with routing protocols such as RIP, IGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
- Consulting with software and hardware vendors and other establishment workers to solve problems impeding network access.
- Meeting with IT directors to determine quality of service and identify needs.
- Design, implement, support, and manage the health system's network and firewall infrastructure.
- Management of the TCP/IP resources.
- Provide network support to affiliate IT department staff.
- Ensure all network equipment and security settings are maintained as specified by Policy.
- Monitor and report on network activity.
- Maintain backups of all equipment as defined by Policy.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
