The Staff Accountant is responsible for the advanced reconciliations and functions of the accounting department. They are responsible for month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and detailed reporting for the CFO.

Essential Functions

·        Provide and complete reporting to upper management & CFO

·        Produce Income Statement Analytics & research discrepancies

·        Prepare Month end Journal Entries

·        Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations

·        Additional reporting & tasks delegated by Accounting Manager, Controller or CFO

·        Complete audit requests for year end and quarterly audits

·        Analyze monthly financial statements

Required Education and Experience:

·        Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

·         ERP system experience a plus

·        1-2 years’ experience as Staff Accountant

Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

•      Environment is consistent with that of an office environment, using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. May encounter interruptions throughout the workday.

Travel Required

•         Quarterly traveling is required

Physical Demands

•         Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer and telephone.
