Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Low Voltage Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee construction projects involving low voltage systems, including network infrastructure, security systems, and telecommunications. The ideal candidate will excel in collaboration, bringing together cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of low voltage projects, from planning and design to implementation and closeout.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of construction and network system installations.
  • Utilize Waterfall and Agile methodologies to drive project success, adapting to project needs as required.
  • Prepare detailed meeting notes, track action items, and provide consistent follow-up to keep projects on schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and timelines using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in low voltage project management, preferably in construction or telecommunications.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) for reporting and planning.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly recommended.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including structured cabling, network infrastructure, and AV/security installations.
  • Proven experience with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Highly organized, with a track record of maintaining accurate records and following through on commitments.
  • Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a remote work environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, or similar) is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Understanding of IP networking and basic cybersecurity principles is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
