Job Summary
Works closely with the nCino Product team, technology delivery teams, and various Lines of Businesses to develop enhancements and execute on an effective product strategy. Drives the implementation of product features within in nCino (e.g., out of the box, add-on, or self-developed). Anticipates organization or customer needs for the Small business, commercial and wholesale segments, drives the solution and product design, ensuring a modernized customer experience. Drives nCino product development from conception to delivery. In this position, he / she must be able to work at the strategic level generating bold and innovative ideas for growth and at the tactical level (analyzing data, solving problems, and working with technology delivery teams within an Agile framework for development). Contributes significantly to drive market growth, customer experience, and overall efficiency in the nCino platform.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with nCino business partners and users to understand the Line of Business' strategy, products, services, distribution channels, competitors and customers. Understands evolving customer needs, priorities and behaviors to identify opportunities to develop and improve digital products, capabilities and client experience.
- Partners broadly with the Line of Business and manages by influence through strong relationships to deliver digital solutions, develop and evolve the strategy in support of the business and customer priorities. Serves as a thought leader / subject matter expert to the business for both capabilities and technical feasibility.
- Proactively keeps abreast of market trends, Synovus's digital channels, customer feedback and analytics to inform a strong understanding of the broader business, technology, digital / mobile marketplace.
- Works closely with nCino business partners to develop and champion short and long term product vision and strategy for the Line of Business. Translates the strategy into a multi-year roadmap with supporting businesses cases.
- Supports business reviews and operational cadence (i.e., governance) with the Line of Business partners to prioritize and manage digital roadmap delivery. Creates transparency across the line of business to ensure appropriate stakeholders are involved in and aware of changes to roadmap delivery or roadmap priorities.
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with 3rd party software vendors, consolidates and integrates product requirements from across Synovus's consumer businesses and prioritize investments. Seeks out vendor partners with solutions that provide for easy integration and ability to add differentiating features to our digital solutions.
- Translates customer and business requirements into use cases and stories to guide product design and development for programs that cut across different businesses and channels.
- Translates concepts and prototypes into features within the digital context. Supports UI / UX design, translating organization or customer needs to designs that are technically feasible. Defines and analyzes product-level features and functionality through a deep understanding of customers and effort. Manages the product backlog (e.g. prioritization and refinement), defines user stories and adjusts scope based on evolving needs.
- Leads the nCino delivery team, manages stakeholder expectations on product development, and maintains strong lines of communication providing status and visibility of digital product development.
- Takes responsibility for quality assurance, serving as the product owner who validates and accepts user stories as done when they meet acceptance criteria.
- Drives ready to launch activities in partnership with the Line of Business including Marketing, Organization Readiness, Learning and Development, Corporate Communications, Customer Care and Support.
- Evangelizes nCino solutions creating awareness and excitement internally and externally.
- Develops solid business cases that articulate the need and opportunity for investment. Follows new products and offerings through the lifecycle and measures success.
- Defines, tracks and realizes key digital performance metrics including competitive intelligence, client experience, team member feedback, on-time delivery, quality, operational performance and return on investments to inform product enhancements and opportunities.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
