Job Summary:
Provide and service a variety of commercial loans and lines of credit specifically for the Senior Housing & Healthcare Lending (SHHL) program, and maintain a portfolio greater than $300 million. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: Nine (9) years of commercial lending experience as a lender with demonstrated experience working with Senior Housing and Healthcare clients and/or complex, multifaceted lending agreements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively market and solicit commercial loans through seeking out SHHL commercial clients; work towards the growth and retention of existing SHHL commercial clients.
- Meet and work with SHHL commercial clients to identify financial goals, and collaboratively seek out ways to reach those goals.
- Interview and assess SHHL clients; describe application review process and discuss features and benefits of the Bank's SHHL programs; discuss key aspects of financing such as rates, terms and payment amounts; prepare and submit appropriate loan recommendation for approval; ensure that all required documentation is properly signed and received; and explain debt responsibilities.
- Submit loan application for verification, and recommendation for approval. Confer with underwriters to aid in resolving application and/or financial data problems. Convey loan decision and explanation to applicant.
- Establish and negotiate, where necessary, terms under which credit will be extended, including the costs, repayment method and schedule and collateral requirements. Utilize decision-making abilities and credit analysis skills to make appropriate credit and structuring recommendations.
- Market bank products to existing and potential SHHL clients, promote bank services that may meet the needs of the client. Connect clients with appropriate bankers for financing or money management needs beyond the scope of the SHHL commercial function.
- Call on potential or existing clients to develop new business and increase or retain existing business; contribute to bank deposit growth. Cross-sell deposit, trade, cash management, foreign exchange, private banking, asset management, and other services.
- Accountable for the processing and the handling of loan and credit requests through credit decision and funding while maintaining adherence to Bank policies and procedures.
- Remain knowledgeable about the communities served, and regulatory guidelines & trends, and competitor programs.
- Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products available to meet the needs of SHHL clients. Learn and maintain a thorough working knowledge of and ensure adherence to all new regulatory compliance, Bank policies & procedures and loan program changes.

- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
