Job Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for timely and accurate shipping and receiving at the Raleigh location.  Also, responsible for ensuring proper inventory in the SAP system so that it reflects current inventory.  This position is important to the success of the business by assuring that customers receive the parts that have been ordered.

Essential Functions

• Issue parts from stockroom to assembly floor or customers
• Receive parts into stockroom ensuring the parts are correct against the Purchase Order
•  Place parts into storage area
•  Maintains an accurate inventory control
• Loads and unloads freight
• Uses SAP to receive and ship
• Issues parts for material requisitions, delivering backordered parts to various assembly areas
• Process customer orders, including packing and shipping (National and International)
• Perform cycle counts on a regular basis.
• Ordering crating materials as needed
• Operates UPS Computer System, Federal Express and/or any Parcel Service.
• Uses a forklift or pushcart to move parts and material throughout the production area.
• Observes all company safety rules.
• Cleans, organizes and maintains work area to be in good working order.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

• 2 years customer service experience with ability to assure confidence in the accuracy of shipping and receiving.
• 2 years' experience working in a warehouse setting
• 2 years' experience with international shipping

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage time and work independently
• Good computer skills
• SAP knowledge a plus

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Continuous Walking or Standing
• Continuous Bending, Stooping, Reaching

The expected compensation range for this position is between $20/hour and $25/hour based on a full-time schedule.  

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
