Job Summary :
The Sport Group America Project Manager and Coordinator IT will lead projects or participate in projects with IT reference with a focus in the area of Main Business Applications (ERP, BI, CRM, etc.). Furthermore, he coordinates the IT activities within the US region of Sport Group including orchestrating local IT staff, analyzing technology needs, implementing IT policies and strategic upgrades to support business goals in alignment with Group IT. This role will be a hands-on and ensuring technology aligns with company objectives and compliance rules.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead local IT projects especially in the field of Main Business Applications (ERP, BI, CRM etc.) from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication or participate in such projects with IT reference.
- Administer, maintain, and support users in our Main Business Applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the Main Business Applications in cooperation with internal IT colleagues and external solution partners.
- Document business processes and map them in existing or future IT systems.
- Manage and provide technical support for the IT systems, server maintenance, software installations, and system upgrades together with other IT team members that are specialized in the field of IT infrastructure.
- Assess current and future technology needs and recommend technology upgrades to optimize operations aligned with the Sport Group IT strategy.
- Ensure the fulfillment of internal and external compliance rules incl. data protection and IT security.
- Lead the advancement of digitalization in business processes.
- Oversee IT budget allocation, cost control, and evaluate and manage relationships with local IT vendors.
- Orchestrate local IT team members and support the CFO US in leading the IT team - performance evaluations, trainings, and development.
- Report the status of current IT projects and tasks to the CFO US (disciplinarian) and the Director IT Global (functional).
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or management information systems
- Ability to motivate and manage small teams - IT professionals and project teams
- General understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, and security protocols
- 3-5 years of practical experience in managing Main Business Applications – ERP, BI, CRM etc. ideally based on MS technology for ERP / CRM (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central and MS Dynamics 365 Sales) and Qlik Sense for BI
- Working experience with SQL Databases (e.g., MS SQL Server)
- Project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects within budget and timelines
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of business goals and aligning IT initiatives to support business processes
