Your Journey with Us
As our Donor Relations Coordinator at Project Chimps, you'll step into the role as the primary contact with donors for our fundraising efforts, engaging with individuals who share our passion for animal welfare and a better future for chimpanzees. Your role is pivotal in developing relationships, ensuring that donors are informed, feel appreciated, and connected with meaningful opportunities to support our mission.
Your Impact:
In this role, you'll be instrumental in transforming our donors' passion into action. By managing a portfolio of donors, you'll connect them with our mission, share the stories of our chimpanzees, and demonstrate how their contributions directly improve the well-being of these amazing creatures.
Your work will drive support for our mission, secure resources for the sanctuary's growth, and elevate our efforts to protect and care for our chimpanzee residents.
Qualifications:
To excel as our Donor Relations Coordinator, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in non-profit administration or a related field such as hospitality or philanthropy. Your outgoing personality will assist you in developing meaningful relationships with donors. A heartfelt commitment to the well-being of chimpanzees retired from research will drive your dedication to our cause.
Your days are filled with providing exceptional customer service (remove comma) responding promptly to calls, emails, and other forms of communication. You’ll become the face of Project Chimps as you share sanctuary updates with donors, ensuring every interaction echoes our values and mission.
Your creativity shines as you craft and deliver personalized communication to donors through thank-you letters, emails, and phone calls ensuring each interaction reflects our gratitude and the impact of their support. Your understanding of their interests and motivations will allow you to identify opportunities for their deeper engagement.
You’ll have the ability to work independently, sometimes under strict deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need strong organizational and time management skills and know how to prioritize effectively.
