Job Description
- The Business Data Analyst role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate definition and execution of Risk requirements according to the Data Governance Policy (CDGP) and Standard (CDGS).
- The role reports into the Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL) Lead in Enterprise Risk Managements Data & Technology.
- The Business Data Analyst positions responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying gaps in data quality controls to reduce risk, partner and collaborate with ERMs data consumers on data quality remediation challenges; document data flows, processes, and procedures; ensuring data requirements are implemented, and that focus remains on the scope and commitments of each phase of the Risk Consent Order Data Quality Plans to ensure proof of Risk Reduction.
- Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of risk processes, systems and reporting, the Data Operating Model, and a solid conceptual / practical grounding in Enterprise Risk Management.
- Requires excellent data analysis skills, in addition to strong presentation / communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
