General Description :
The Warehouse Inventory Operator is responsible for completing assigned duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. The Warehouse Inventory Operator does this by ensuring reconciliations for all product deliveries, and conducting weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. The Warehouse Inventory Operator is also the primary WMS administrator. The Warehouse Inventory Operator completes these functions in support of the manufacture of dairy-related products.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for achieving assigned goals in the areas of production, safety, quality, performance, and cost.
- Notifies others of mechanical malfunctions to increase productivity and equipment capabilities and begins to identify areas where operators can assist in resolving concerns.
- Responsible for complying with GMPs, SOPs, corporate and plant policies, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain effective relationships with the account representatives, procurement, plant managers, and site managers. Communicate all quality concerns promptly.
- Maximize the functionality of the WMS Visual Warehouse System; Coordinate the implementation for scanning all material consumables and Finished Goods.
- Assisted with maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting; Created and maintained related spreadsheets.
- Communicate daily to Inventory Leadership and Warehouse Management.
- Promote and provide excellent customer service for all customers.
- Work with distribution center operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
- Monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and customer service logs.
- Promote a safe and harmonious work environment and adherence to company policy and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with S.Q.F., HACCP, GWP, and FSMA regulations.
- Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and site operations audits to ensure Accuracy, Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement.
- Responsible for reporting food safety problems and initiating action and for supporting SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality.
- Ensures work areas are sanitary and strictly adhere to sanitation practices.
- Communicates effectively between shifts and other departments.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Byrne, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.50 to $25.75.
