Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator with extensive Microsoft expertise to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced MSP environment, supporting multiple clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation and be capable of leading multiple IT projects, including new server installations, cloud migrations, Azure implementations, network upgrades, virtualization deployments, security and firewall installations, and backup and disaster recovery solutions. In addition to project leadership, you will provide day-to-day technical support, ensuring the smooth operation and security of client IT infrastructures while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects, including new server installations, cloud migrations, Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure implementations, network upgrades, virtualization deployments, security and firewall installations, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and other projects at all layers of the IT stack, ensuring seamless implementation and compliance adherence.
- Provide day-to-day IT support for multiple clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Azure AD.
- Oversee Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, and hybrid integrations for various clients.
- Implement and maintain security controls, data governance, and compliance standards within client environments.
- Collaborate with clients to assess needs, implement tailored solutions, and ensure smooth operations.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management across multiple client environments.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to enhance internal knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 administration and migration projects, particularly in MSP environments.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2) and experience with compliant IT solutions.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Experience with Azure AD, hybrid cloud environments, and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
- Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.
- Ability to balance daily client support needs with project implementation and management.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- MSP experience with multiple client environments is a must.
- Relevant certifications (such as Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.

Pay: $86,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
