What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nurse Manager position at SYRINGA HOSPITAL & CLINICS?
The Clinical Nurse Manager is a supervisory position that oversees the daily operations of the Medical-Surgical Nursing Floor, Emergency Department, Ambulance Services, and Discharge Planner. The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, delegates, and coordinates staffing and all daily operations within the nursing departments as listed or as assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). The Clinical Nurse Manager works with leaders and nursing staff to determine educational needs, policy changes, and operational changes within the nursing units and the hospital to fulfill Syringa Hospital’s Mission, Values and Standards.
- Bachelor of Science or Arts in Nursing from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hospital-based healthcare setting with three (3) years of management-based experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Idaho Nursing License
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP and TNCC or equivalent.
