Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a senior community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate administration, legal procedures, and sales, with knowledge of LIHTC, and a minimum of 1 year of property management.
This is a part-time position, 25 hours per week.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of assigned properties
- Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors and service providers
- Maintain accurate tenant files and ensure compliance with regulations with Section 8 and LIHTC communities
- Conduct data entry and maintain property management software
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and prospective renters
- Oversee property maintenance and repairs
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to property management
- Conduct property tours and showings
- Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and team members
Requirements:
- Experience in real estate administration and property management
- Knowledge of LIHTC, and other affordable housing programs
- Strong negotiation skills for contract agreements
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle legal administrative tasks related to property management
- Sales experience for leasing units and tenant retention
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication
