This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, with experience in heavy duty truck repair and maintenance. You will be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks on our vehicles, as well as diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on company vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Detect and diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out parts, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Conduct thorough safety checks on all vehicles before they are returned to service.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
