About the Job
Sysco is seeking a qualified Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting products from our warehouse to customers across various routes.
Duties:
- Drive tractor-trailer units over long distances, navigating varied terrains and weather conditions
- Unload products from trailers using hand carts or by lifting up to 50 pounds
- Inspect products for damage before delivery and ensure accurate documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other drivers regarding route changes, delays, or issues
Requirements:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 1 year of experience driving tractor-trailers or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb into/out of tractors and trailers, and reach to stack/unstack pallets
