Job Summary:
At Sysco, we are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on our fleet of vehicles, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all fleet vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivelines
- Work with senior technicians to develop and implement new diagnostic procedures and repair techniques
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements:
- Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, or 3 years of experience in a related field
- Current and valid driver's license
