Operations Position Summary
This is an operations role responsible for ensuring the readiness of delivery equipment. Daily tasks include checking oil, fluids, tire pressure, and fuel levels.
Key Responsibilities
Fuel all delivery equipment daily to ensure timely departures.
Verify that all power equipment fluid levels are within acceptable parameters on a daily basis.
Provide support to the fleet shop as needed.
Collaborate with fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use.
Perform trailer washing according to the FSQA schedule.
Maintain a clean and debris-free parking lot.
Assist night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Experience
1-3 months of related experience and/or training.
Professional Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Able to write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Can perform basic arithmetic operations involving units of measurement.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various formats.
Solve problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
Learn to operate tractor-trailers and straight trucks safely.
Physical Demands
