JOB SUMMARYAs the Manager, Commercial Finance, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing financial management across various areas within the organization. This position involves managing a team of analysts and collaborating with key stakeholders, particularly at the VP level, to drive and support strategic initiatives that will drive business growth. You will be responsible for financial modeling, business performance analysis, and providing valuable insights to enhance overall profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen, capable of influencing key stakeholders and contributing to the overall success of the organization's commercial initiatives.RESPONSIBILITIESServe as the primary point of contact for commercial VPs in relation to business initiatives and commercial strategy.Cultivate and manage strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders including corporate FP&A.Develop / review comprehensive business cases for initiatives and new use-cases, utilizing advanced financial modeling techniques.Analyze and assess financial and business performance, identifying trends, and providing insightful recommendations for various profitability drivers, including revenue, margin, expense management, and working capital management.Quantify the financial impact of strategic decisions, identifying both risks and opportunities.Lead efforts to improve the performance of customers and operations impacted by initiatives or use-cases.Provide essential support to business partners by offering financial insights, conducting business performance analysis, and developing financial models for their respective initiatives.Collaborate with business partners to understand and provide insights on budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.Manage and lead a team of 1-2 analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Develop and mentor team members, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.Preferred skills : Proven experience in financial management, business analysis, and strategic decision support.Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing and mentoring finance professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in commercial finance.EducationBachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Economics requiredMBA / CPA and preferredExperienceAt least 5 years financial analyst experience requiredPrior managerial experience preferredSkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations from the dataAbility to lead and direct clerical positionsProficient computer skills with emphasis on Word and Excel
