Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet vehicles. This is an entry-level position that involves working under the guidance of more experienced technicians.
Responsibilities
Learns to perform required inspections and preventive maintenance under the guidance of senior technicians.
Performs quality preventive maintenance inspections per company methods on all fleet vehicles.
Assists senior technicians with maintenance repairs as needed.
Diagnostics and repairs malfunctions and road-call repairs in a safe, efficient, timely and quality manner.
Addresses driver vehicle inspection report write-ups timely, efficiently and correctly.
Develops efficiency in Sysco computer programs.
Requirements
Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school (preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent required
No experience required
Current and valid driver's license (CDL Preferred)
