SUMMARY
The Proposal Writing Specialist is responsible for writing, developing, coordinating, and submitting high-quality proposal assets, and presentations. Proposal assets require technical acumen and the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems. This role works closely with the Proposal Manager, business development team, and technical experts to craft compelling proposals that align with client needs and showcase SysCom's expertise. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide technical writing and work independently to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
- Collaborate with the Proposal Manager, business development team, and technical staff to create compelling proposal content.
- Organize and manage proposal documentation, forms, and supporting materials to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Design page layouts and informational graphics to enhance proposal effectiveness.
- Maintain a catalog of pursuit materials, including project descriptions, resumes, and business development collateral.
- Conduct competitive analysis and track analytics to improve proposal strategies.
- Submit public records requests and analyze debrief materials to refine future proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferably within the IT, or Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry).
- Preferred: 1 years of experience in federal proposal writing, marketing, or business development in a B2B professional services environment.
Technical Skills
- Proposal & Document Management - Experience with proposal coordination, content development, and submission processes.
- Software Proficiency - Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Graphic Design & Visual Communication - Ability to develop infographics, marketing materials, and layouts.
