Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand global trade and compliance requirements.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP GTC/GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Processing, Risk Management).
- Integrate SAP GTS with SAP ECC/S4HANA and external systems for seamless trade processing.
- Manage master data relevant to trade compliance, including sanctioned party lists and classification codes.
- Provide support for embargo checks, legal control, and export/import documentation.
- Analyze regulatory changes and implement system changes accordingly.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Create process documentation, functional specs, and training materials.
- Provide day-to-day production support and resolve GTC-related issues.
- Support audits and generate compliance reports as required by international trade laws.
- Partner with Legal, Tax, Logistics, and Procurement teams to ensure end-to-end compliance coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with SAP GTS/GTC in a functional or techno-functional role.
- Strong knowledge of international trade compliance regulations (e.g., ECCN, HTS, EAR, ITAR).
- Experience integrating GTS with SAP SD, MM, and Logistics modules.
- Hands-on configuration experience in SAP GTS modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Consumer Electronics or Manufacturing domain.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to customs brokerage systems or third-party integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).
- SAP Certification in GTS is a plus.
