JOB DESCRIPTION-
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES :
- Proven experience (4 years) in a data leadership role, preferably within a large, complex supply chain-centric organization.
- Experience in shaping and evolving a company's data team to complement and fully support the evolving strategic and tactical challenges of the organization.
- Strong understanding of master data management principles, strategies, concepts, and leading practices.
- Working knowledge of data governance, data quality (profiling / cleansing), data processes, and archiving.
- Ability to design and re-design data governance per requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field required.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Proven change management and relationship building experience.
- Excellent problem solving, dispute resolution, interpersonal, analytical and project management skills; ability to prioritize, delegate tasks and multi-task.
- Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in / with enterprise-wide data governance required.
- Demonstrated skill running effective meetings and gaining buy-in and participation from executive leaders.
- Demonstrated experience with data automation, data governance and data quality tool sets (i.e. Winshuttle, Precisely Evolve)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project, MS SharePoint.
