Must Have Technical / Functional Skills
Solid fundamentals and deep understanding of IPV4 / IPV 6 networks (TCP / IP), Network Routing and Network Access / policy controls.
Implementing Security / NAT policies for technology areas Palo Alto Networks (Firewall, Wildfire, URL filtering, etc.),
Admin / Management of following platforms : Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, F5 LTM & GTM, Cisco Router & Switches, Imperva WAF, Site to Site VPN tunnel, Remote Access VPN etc.
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with Cisco Routing and Switching along with Sniffer / Wireshark analysis
Proficient in executing diagnostic techniques with a sound foundation of monitoring tools which include NetScout, Wireshark, Splunk.
Sound second level problem determination and problem source identification skills with regards to the various network technologies.
Up to date on latest computing / technology trends and security practices
Expertise in application of ITIL methodology. Understand and experience with best practices for Operation support, automation, and technology management

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in order to interact with support groups, clients and vendors.
Experience and a sound understanding of network environments (TCP / IP, Cisco routers / switches, Firewall, Load Balancers) including an excellent understanding of telecommunications concepts and connectivity.
Assist in network design and implementation.
Provide network support with a variety of operating systems.
Install and configure computer network equipment.
Maintain network connectivity of all computer workstations.
Provide network support to users.
Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
Develop and monitor policies for the use of network resources.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
Create and maintain network users / permissions.
Test release of products to minimize user impact and ensure compatibility.
Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
