Familiar with software development concepts. Comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation as well as working with developers, solution architects and other technical staff
Experience in driving the product management lifecycle and design and development of end-to-end products and workflows; drive and support integration strategies and approaches, persona development and journey mapping experience
Experience monitoring capital budget at feature / scrum team level
Establishing constructive, collaborative relationship with partners
Experience defining and tracking product OKRs to measure success / outcome
Experience with product management tools like AHA!, Rally, and GitHub
Experience Required
8-10 Years of IT Product Management Experience
Roles & Responsibilities
Work with business partners / stakeholders to translate gather interpret, and prioritize user requirements into user stories that can be directly tied to OKRs
Interpret vision and translate requirements for engineering teams
Monitor the capital budget at feature / scrum team level and raise awareness when seeing variation
Understands and contributes to initiatives and value propositions to deliver a thoughtful, holistic solution
Communicates effectively to build relationships with key stakeholders (scrum teams / product leads / delivery leads)
Support prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance and operational.
Speaks credibly to both business and technology partners across teams and levels
Diffuses conflict by driving consensus based in the greater good of the product and customer needs
Effectively leads cross-functional meetings, interfaces well with direct leadership
Drive product strategy through strategic and feature roadmap development
Tell the story of the product both internally and externally
Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve product capabilities
Accurately translate technical terms and concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Effectively represent technical challenges and opportunities to external and internal stakeholders
Assist in removing obstacles, resolve conflicts and ensure alignment
Identify and appropriately leverage SME's by balancing subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and technical aptitude
Responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc.
Supports and helps manage product backlog of enhancements and new features
Understands a feature's impact / relationship on other portfolio capabilities (dependencies)
Generic Managerial Skills
Agile product owner or agile leader certification
Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of team / organization, vendors and third parties
Architecture or other technical experience (DevOps)
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to medium sized groups
Project, portfolio and program management
Experience with integration testing / automation practices
Understanding of LeSS Framework and product focused mindset
Education
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, information systems or related field
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
