Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage systems, including installation and maintenance of cabling, telecommunication, security and audio visual systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to installation ensuring the highest level of service for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide tailored solutions for their low voltage requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations or repairs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to low voltage systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a service technician in low voltage systems or related fields.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various electrical components.
  • Familiarity with CCTV installation processes and telecommunication systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in reading schematics and understanding system designs.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.50 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
