Systech is Looking for Desktop Support Specialist.
Locations : Hicksville NY
The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and qualities
- Experience working with customers at tier 3 support level (or equivalent)
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting virtual machines running Windows operating systems
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting multiple Windows operating systems, including Windows, 11, 10, 7 and XP
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting virtual networking with VMware Player
- Experience with Microsoft management tools (Active Directory, Intune, etc.) within the Azure environment
- Knowledge and awareness of IT security principles and practices, and a mindset to emphasize security throughout all job activities
- Knowledge and / or experience with the operational technology (OT) environment a plus, including the equipment, applications and security
- Possess strong written and verbal communication, and experience dealing directly with struggling customers
