What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Administrator position at System One Holdings, LLC?
System One is looking to hire a Systems Administrator for a company in Tulsa. This administrator will act as a primary point of contact for the business to provide support and maintenance for business-critical systems. Additionally, responsibilities will include installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading core infrastructure, as required. This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely, accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance, as required. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on assistance. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will require someone to be full-time, on-site Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Responsibilities :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, experience, and / or ability required.
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization throughout organization and subsidiaries
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Facilitate desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Install and configure appropriate software according to system specifications
- Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems for all responsibility areas
