Summary:
- Provide IS technical support and client support for plant IS systems
- Work under direction of Plant Digital System Support Specialist
- Support Corporate IS efforts involving computers and networking systems at the plant level such as IT hardware refreshing
- Provide IS support services to help users identify, evaluate, implement and maintain computer-based solutions to business problems
- Ongoing responsibilities include hardware and software support for Windows PCs, printers, virtual environments, network infrastructure, time clocks, bar code systems, phone systems, and paging system.
Responsibilities:
- IT systems: Provide on-site support for IT infrastructure. Help facilitate Windows desktop/laptop installation and maintenance.
- OT systems: Support automation/controls software and licenses required on technician PCs, support VMs on user computers.
- End User Support: Respond to plant user support needs related to PC software and hardware, printers, and plant applications. Respond to corporate IT Help Desk and work with plant DSS.
Top Three Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows environments and networking, understanding hardware refresh processes (PCs specifically), and an ability to efficiently troubleshoot client issues.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT/OT support roles.
- Must demonstrate the company's Values.
- Proficiency of the English language
- Work safely and follow all established plant policies and procedures
- Possess good time management
- Possess good math skills
- Follow directions and pay attention to details
- Ability to work independently and in group environment
- Possess good written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
