We are looking for a dedicated Plant Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tulsa, OK. This full-time, exempt position offers a unique opportunity to lead and optimize our production processes, ensuring the highest quality products for our customers.
About the Role: As a Plant Engineer, you will be at the forefront of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing equipment and processes. You will collaborate with product development and sales teams to meet customer demands for new product lines and modifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply engineering expertise (mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, civil, structural, environmental, economics, maintenance, and ergonomics) to lead cost-saving and prevention projects.
- Utilize project management skills to define project scope, timing, and budget.
- Ensure alignment across three food manufacturing plants in Tulsa, OK.
- Engineering degree required (mechanical, biosystems/agricultural, chemical, or electrical preferred).
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering or technical management within the food manufacturing sector (baked goods preferred).
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD (required) and 3D Inventor (desired).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with plant safety, quality, sanitation, and environmental requirements.
- Experience with statistical tools, instrumentation, and controls (specifically Allen Bradley).
