The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with families, guiding them through enrollment interviews while ensuring a respectful and supportive atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, and a strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct enrollment interviews primarily over the phone, ensuring a welcoming and empathetic environment for families seeking assistance.
- Utilize prepared scripts to gather essential information, including personal health history and financial data, while remaining adaptable to each family's unique situation.
- Enter interview data accurately and efficiently into Excel and other designated software systems in real-time during calls.
- Handle a high volume of interviews, managing up to six calls per day during peak enrollment periods.
- Provide ongoing support and information to families, answering questions and addressing concerns with patience and understanding.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes, troubleshoot challenges, and enhance the overall experience for clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Continuously update knowledge of programs and available resources to offer the most accurate assistance to families.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with families.
- Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or administrative roles preferably within a social service or healthcare setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook 365.
