System One is seeking a Field Project Manager in Johnson City, TN on a 6-month contract basis. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience with a respected client in the engineering and construction services sector!

Pay rate up to $58/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Per Diem is being offered - per GSA schedule (Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the site to claim per diem)

Lodging: $110/day

Meals & Incidentals: $68/day (first and last day paid at 75% - $51/day)

Responsibilities:
-
Inspect progress of the work and adherence to safety, schedule, quality of workmanship, materials, and equipment

Compile daily construction observation reports; prepare weekly progress reports for PM’s approval
-
Participate in telecon meeting w/ PM & client and prepare & distribute meeting minutes

Manage, track, and process RFIs and submittals; assist PM as needed
-
Assist PM in managing and negotiating proposed construction modifications, evaluate contractor’s cost and schedule proposals, documenting changes

Review contractor’s invoices and certified payrolls

Track and manage the organization of project safety compliance and incidents, project photos, meeting minutes, OSHA compliance

Prepare deficiency / punch list logs, reports

Assist PM in implementing construction close-out procedures including, obtaining warranty information from contractor, final O&Ms, equipment lists, all necessary red-lines & as-built drawings

Provide final project report with photo’s detailing relevant elements of the project
