Our client is looking for a Maintenance Shop Manager who thrives in a hands-on, "player-coach" role. They’re seeking a leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside their team to drive success.
About the Role
As the Maintenance Shop Manager, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of four technicians.
- Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on McElroy equipment and related machinery.
- Coordinate daily shop activities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Manage inventory of parts and tools to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance proactively.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and productive working environment.
Key Qualifications
- McElroy Machine Certification is highly preferred but not required.
- Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining McElroy or similar equipment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage shop operations.
Preferred Experience
- Supervising or managing a small team.
- Familiarity with environmental containment or related industries.
