Network Administrator (5641)
Position Location: On-site, local to Philadelphia, PA
Position Clearance: Public Trust
Full Benefits position, W-2 pay up to $70K
Fed Gov Fed Agency requires Citizenship and ability to secure a clearance called a Public Trust
Position Responsibilities:
Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and/or network vendors.
- Installs and maintains network equipment, including switches, hubs, and UPSs.
- Performs site network proposal walk throughs, creates and proofs network plant proposals for participating sites utilizing software that creates graphical representations of communications networks.
- Maintains and repairs the network infrastructure like operating systems, routers and other network related components.
- Troubleshoots and resolves network problems as needed to ensure maximum availability, reliability and efficiency.
- Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting.
Position Qualifications
High School with 9 years (or commensurate experience)
