Mountain LTD is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to work in the Louisville, KY area!

The OSP Engineer will perform all aspects of OSP engineering including but not limited to engineering of line extensions for service order activity, pole replacements facility installations and facility relocation. The OSP Engineer's duties may include OSP staking, work order package preparation including but not limited to field notes, cut sheets, schematics, and acquiring permits and private rights-of-way. The Engineer will be familiar with OSP design and planning, construction, and have the ability to perform cost analysis to determine the most cost effective and efficient manner of the placement of communications facilities.
Responsibilities
- Fieldwork to include SS, pole surveys, and field data collection to support permit functions in a joint-use and municipal, city, county, RR, etc setting
- Site Survey experience/Customer interface a plus.
- CAD experience a big plus!
- Fieldwork, Site Survey, and CAD experience
- Previous experience in a multi-tasking, results oriented position in a deadline focused department
- Previous experience in aerial, buried and underground outside plant; construction experience is a plus
- Katapult experience necessary- the aerial permitting authority in Louisville is KU/LGE and they require katapult deliverables
- Experience permitting with KU/LG&E a plus, not required.
- Experience working with the DOT and municipalities around Louisville a major plus.
- Strong communication and computer skills
- A solid and diverse fielding background
- Good computer skills
