Job Title:  Production Chemical Operator
Location:  Goose Creek, SC
Hours / Schedule: 12 hours per day, 5 days a week, 1st Shift Production Operators 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. 
Rotating Shifts  9:30am to 9:00 pm and 9:00pm to 9:30am
Tuesday - Wednesday - Saturday Sunday Monday 9:30am - 9:00pm
Thursday - Friday -  9:00pm - 9:30am
36 hours one week / 48 hours one week
Type:  Long Term Contract

Responsibilities
This essential role uses raw materials and chemical processing equipment to produce a new product that is sold to manufacturers globally.

• Operation of chemical processing equipment and physical material handling/processing equipment
• Proper monitoring of equipment and record keeping                       Maintaining good housekeeping throughout the building.  Performing regular housekeeping inspections.
• Working safely and maintaining the work area in safe condition. Performing regular safety inspections.               
• Preparing equipment for repairs.    
• Performing product, raw material and in process laboratory procedures.
• Work with colleagues in collaborative Self-Directed Work Teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years' experience in an industrial environment.   
• Chemical Plant experience or training is preferred.
• Must be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, and climbing.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shift.  Alternate between two weeks on day shift and two weeks on night shift.  Work seven out of every 14 days.
