What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at System One?
System One is working with a Tulsa based company that is in search of an accountant. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, be a critical thinker and problem solver, and be able to work both independently and in a team setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing line-item vendor bills
- Auditing subcontractor bills
- Creating and sending invoices
- Approving bills for payment
- Assisting with month-end close activities
- Generating reports for project managers
- Maintaining updated project information in the accounting and ordering system.
- Additionally, the Project Accountant will be responsible for managing vendor and customer information and agreements.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Excel and QuickBooks, and be proficient in using Google Suite. The ability to learn and adapt quickly, as well as a desire to learn and grow, are essential qualities for this position.
